"Hotel is located on a hill overlooking the valley - wonderful sunrise views. Property is well maintained and rooms/bathrooms well appointed. One issue for us - we may have been placed into an accessible room - the bathroom light was tied to the door of the bathroom opening - there was no way to control the light other than the door (I asked). If you use the bathroom at night, and do not want the light to come on - you had to pull your key out of the main switch at the wall which cut all power...

"Having booked this hotel with very low expectations I was blown away by its facilities and 5* restaurant. The staff were fantastic, rooms exceptionally clean and restaurant was the best in the area. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend. The hotel Kunz offers exceptional value for money and easy parking which is always welcome especially as i was in a large van."

"We (family of 4 + dog) have stayed here overnight every year on our way to the south and we love it! "A wonderful hotel with a view that could not be matched in the area. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning was a godsend as it was quite warm outside. The view from the terrace should not be missed. The property is a stone’s throw from old castle ruins (free) and an underground sandstone quarry (there is an admission fee), as well as a short walk from the old town. Full disclosure: the hotel is on the top of a hill. While the walk into town was all downhill and relatively easy, the walk back up to the hotel could be viewed as somewhat strenuous."

"After 1300hrs on a Sunday, check-in is bua a machine in a lobby off the car park, I met staff who were on their wst out and they were helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable, clean but basic. The price paid seems fair. Breakfast is an additional €14.90, the selection was very good and food quality is excellent. "
