The staff were amazing but overall we found the property quite "tired". The furniture and carpet in our rooms were wearing thin and shabby and overlooked the green and slimy pool areas.

We had a wonderful first time in Japan! The hotel provided us with a great experience. The room was clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

All it was excellent

The suite is 2 rooms that aren't actually adjoined. It has a small alcove with a key-access door that doesn't double lock to connect the rooms, so it doesn't feel as safe. Restaurant was very helpful and let us take food to our rooms, but there isn't actual room service. Overall, the hotel didn't seem to cater well to children but more the business traveler.

This hotel was absolutely stunning and in a perfect location. The staff members were so delightful, but there is a real issue with getting the room serviced. We were told that we would get towels and trash removal daily, but we were scheduled to have the room cleaned on only one out of our six night stay stay. There is a button that you can push to request more frequent cleanings, but that never worked for us. We ended up having to call each day just to request towels and trash removal, and we finally had to speak with someone to get the room cleaned. We are not dirty or messy people, so it wasn’t really a serious issue for us – but it was strange for a hotel at this level. The fitness center was a great bonus, but there were often no towels and the mats were extremely sad and they did not provide anything to wipe down/disinfect mats or equipment — which was very unusual, especially in Japan which is such a ultra-hygienic country. Breakfast buffet was good, with a nice mix of western and Japanese. There is also a lounge which was nice and had a Nespresso machine which unfortunately was out of order for most of our stay. They did have a vending machine with really good Italian pizza with adjacent ovens and all necessary implements to bake the pizza and we did it just for the experience but actually it was delicious and we are pizza people with an outdoor woodfired pizza oven at home. The absolute highlight was the view – absolutely stunning.
