"Our family stayed here passing through at the end of our vacation in France, as we flew home from Geneva. We were only at the hotel for about 12 hours, but it was clean, comfortable, and great location for travelling. We arrived by bus and we walked to the hotel. The next morning, we walked to the train station to get to the airport very easily. The hotel stay included free train tickets. We wished that the hotel had a restaurant on site as the kiddos were exhausted and just wanted to stay in. We were told that they share hotels under the same umbrella, but they were in different locations. We were able to get 2 connectiving rooms which was convenient. We didn't have time to try any hotel amenities. Overall, a great convenient and clean hotel stay for a pass-through. "

"The hotel was great. The check in staff was very friendly. The room was amazing! We got a superior family suite. It’s 2 rooms, kids room has 2 twins and the other room has 2 twins pushed together to make a king. The king room had a large soaking tub and separate toilet area away from the shower and tub. The kids room has its own bathroom that was large. Each room had a couch and table and sitting area. Both rooms share a front door but also have their own doors-imagine connecting rooms but with a shared “lobby” in between. Very unique and very well priced!! The neighborhood was quiet and safe and a few blocks from the action. Very close to the lake and the swimming beach. Very close to the train station and there are trams and buses right nearby. We walked to old town which took about 30 min or 15 min walk to the boat taxis then took the boat taxi across the lake. Overall I highly recommend this place!! Very rare to find family style rooms where the kids can stay with us but have their own space without breaking the bank on a suite! We didn’t eat at the restaurant or bistro but the menu looked good. "

"Great downtown location and near shopping. The service was great, the breakfast buffet great but pricey onthe hot version so I would recommend going out for hot if you really want a hot breakfast. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfy and the bathroom is roomy. It had good walkability also. Horrible, and I cannot express that enough, horrible options for parking cars in that town. Taxi/Uber options are the only way to go pretty much anywhere."

"I stayed on the 6th floor and had a balcony. It was nice to be able to look out over the city and see the Jet d’ Eau in the distance. And to get a breath of fresh air. The best part about the hotel is how convenient it is from the main train station—just walk across the street. Very walkable and the stay in Geneva included free public transportation (including to and from the airport). Also there was A/C. Very nice as it was pretty hot when I visited."

"Hotel Royal Savoy is a beautiful hotel. Totally refurbished with a new 100 room wing with spa added and reopened in 2016 after a multi year refurbishment. I have stayed here several times in the last 39 years, since living here for 7 weeks when studying at the near by IMD in 1986. It’s a suburb location. Midway between the Lac Leman and the rail station. If arriving by train take the metro just 2 stops towards the lake and you will emerge less than 100 metres from the hotel. The refurbishment was of the highest possible standard. And the buffet breakfasts on outside deck are exquisite. Thanks again. "
