Hotels near Historic Travellers Rest

"TRAINS! Be careful what room you have. To the Corporate office - Why would you build a hotel right next to 2 train tracks? The trains were very loud and kept us up. I feel bad for the manager who was very nice but whose hands are tied to mitigate the noise. Also note that it is built on a hill and the first floor feels like a basement. "

"The staff was not present at the desk often. They do not have enough parking for the number of rooms (people were parked on a side street). There was a roach in my room 2 hours after check in. There was a stain or two on the bed. Because I was handicapped, I didn't switch rooms or hotels. But I will not stay again. For $100 a night, they could have at least had a drink machine to purchase from. "

"Room was very clean and staff was very responsive to our requests. Only downfall for us is that there was no self-serve laundry facilities onsite. Location was in a great neighborhood. We can't wait to come back here on our next trip to Nashville. "

"There was refurbishing throughout the first floor which was not disclosed to us when we made our reservation. Also loud clientele fighting throughout the night."
