"A little gem of a place, we were greeted by the owner who was very welcoming. He gave us a great room with a wonderful view and told us all we needed to know to get around Asilah. Breakfast was good and on our last day we left very early to get a ferry and he still managed to get us fed. The view from the top is great and can I just say once again how welcoming we were made to feel, couldn’t recommend it enough!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Dar souran very much :) the rooms are very comfortable and both the terrace view and freshly cooked breakfast are amazing. The owner and staff are also extremely friendly and welcoming and make you feel at home. Thanks again for everything, especially to Munir and Jihan who did a wonderful job!!"

"Mittlerweile weiss ich, dass Fenster in einen innenliegenden Hof gehen. Das ist ueblich bei Stadthausern in der eng bebauten Altstadt markkanischer Staedte. Die Zimmer sind sehr wohnlich. Das Fruhstueck wird im Erdgeschoss serviert und mit der letzten Tasse Kaffee bin ich auf die Dachterrasse gestiegen .."

"Overall very much as pictured and as expected - welcome was accommodating, easy and nice to find. Shared spaces were decorated very nicely and the highlight of the hotel. facilities all very clean. One major disappointment at the end - the manager arranged our transfer to Chefchaouen. After we were picked up by their “usual driver” at the riad and walked out of the medina to street with our luggage, we were loaded into car and this man that came to pick us up vanished - we were left with a...

"Had an amazing stay at this hotel. Unlike neighboring hotels like Kenzo (hated my experience there) Barcelo staff is professional and courteous. They make you feel welcomed unlike the Kenzo hotel. They have dining options. Rooms have balconies for views of the beach. The pool is nice and quiet. It's expensive overall but it's worth it. "

"Our stay was so lovely, the staff were all so kind especially Miss Hamina who made sure we had everything we needed and was always very attentive of our needs. She was the sweetest. The breakfast was incredible. The only thing that we did not like was there some a used glove on the chair in the work desk in the room. It looked used and we didn’t know where it came from. Other than that, everything was great!"

"We were greeted with Moroccan tea and a sweet while we checked in. Staff were friendly and helpful carried bags to our room and gave us advice on cost for taxis etc. The room was small but had everything we needed including fresh fruit. Breakfast was included and a great start to the day. Great location for exploring the Medina and corniche. "
