"On our way from Cape Town to the wonderful Pure Nature Lodge in Paterson we stopped twice at The Old Trading Post for one night stop-over. We really enjoyed it and on the way back to Cape Town it felt already like coming home :-) And the pizza dinner was really outstanding - really the best pizza we ever had!!!"

"Very good stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Restaurants we attended were well serviced and the food good. Room clean and comfortable and well serviced. Bathroom Not originally as clean as I would have liked. Interesting water colour due to tannins so takes a bit of getting used to; hotel may want to advise guests. Golf service was not as slick as I thought it would be; missed out on maximizing our golf due to a shortage of golf carts for Montegu course; mislead on how “easy” it was to walk....

"The staff were all friendly and welcoming. The hotel is a beautiful art deco building with peacocks roaming the grounds. The onsite restaurant offers tasty food and the rooms are very comfortable and modern. Very peaceful as the hotel sits at the edge of the forest. I will definitely stay here again when i am next in George."
