The room, especially the ensuite were spacious and well equipped. The breakfast menu was extensive and tasteful. Fraser was responsive to our requests and needs. We would happily stay there again.

Fraser and Ann were wonderful hosts and we felt very welcome.. The breakfast was excellent. Very clean, and we were quite comfortable. Bathroom amenities were nice. We would stay here again.

The hosts were exceptional with great suggestions, and warm and delicious breakfast offerings. The lodge is very roomy and comfortable and I would highly recommend it for anyone needing excellent accommodations in Hokitika.

Excellent property and hosts. Only negative was mold around base of shower and shower door that we cleaned off with cotton bud. Otherwise room was clean and we would happily stay there again

Pleasant overnight stay
A nice comfortable bedroom which gave us a good night’s sleep. Lovely selection for breakfast with fruit salad and cereals followed by a number options with free range eggs from their own chickens, homemade sour dough bread and very tasty bacon. The lounge for guests use was very well furnished and comfortable. The grounds needed some attention - I don’t think they’re gardeners! All in all a very pleasant stay for a reasonable price.

Cozy and quaint property a bit outside of the main town. Great B&B with a friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

What a gem , about 5km out of Hokitika main strip, but the guest house was superb, Lovely gardens to sit in . and the Breakfast (included) was superb .. full breakfast including a choice of three cooked options Lovely stay

Lovely comfortable lodge with very hospitable but never intrusive host. The room we stayed in had a separate living area which gets lots of natural light, making it super pleasant to laze around. Consistent most of the reviews, the host couple does serve a very hearty and satisfying breakfast to set us off properly for the day ahead ! Wish there were more to do in Hokitika to justify staying longer at this lovely lodge !

This B&B is a 10! Feels like a home, everything is in tip-top condition. Owners make fresh breakfast. Rooms are spacious, beds are new and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Lovely B&B outside of the town but just a short drive to everything. Great hosts and spacious rooms in a gorgeous country setting, topped off with a fantastic breakfast.

Fantastic rooms, comfortable beds, great friendly hosts, great cooked breakfast with lots of options. Definitely use this again and recommend it to others. Great off street parking unseen from the road. So quiet and relaxing.

It's warm and cosy in the lounge with a glass of wine in front of the fire. Poor wifi reception. Comfy bed. Great breakfast. Lovely couple running the show. Will be back.

Our stay was good just didnt expect just a bedroom. We did try to make the most of what booked. We didnt read the description properly lol 😆 The breakfast was 9/10 just as good as a cafe, service with a smile too 😀

Very good experience, the room is clean and bad is really comfortable. The hosts are really friendly and thoughtful. As we were arrive later than the expected time, a lovely letter was written for us including all the instructions. Breakfast was delicious, and food were fresh. They have many options for us to choose. Will definitely comeback again.

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay and such lovely hosts. We wish we had longer stay. Every spec seems to have been thought of and of high quality. Place was so tranquil and approach to the reception sets the mood as you get drive through an idyllic driveway. 10/10 👌

Loved the country location bird life and trees. Weather was great. The bedroom situation was not as advertised which brought us right down after aclong drive. Breakfast was superb nice people

Hi Lyn. Im sorry you were not satisfied with the bed situation but you did only book a twin bedded room, which is advertised by us as 2 single beds. but we are pleased you enjoyed the rest of your stay, hopefully you will visit again
