We stayed here one night on our way back from Bergen to Oslo. It is a big sprawling (in a nice way) hotel! Comforting, traditional ski lodge style feel but the room was modern and spacious with a balcony for me, my wife and 15yr old son. The bathroom was very snug though, but clean. There is a good sports bar on site. Burgers were nice. Bar games too. The pool, sauna and outdoor hot tub were v good. The only downside is it faces the main railway station and there were a few late night freight trains running through. The breakfast buffet was v good though with great choice. Overall, I’d stay again but maybe ask for a room not at the front.

Semester

Ett mysigt hotell med alla bekvämligheter. Rummet var bra, sängarna sköna. Badrum med badkar. Många långa korridorer o trappor att tänka på om man har svårt att gå. Vi åt 4 rätters på kvällen som var fantastisk. Frukostens äggröra, gjord på riktiga ägg, var superb. Finns bowlingbana på hotellet som vi provade!

Der alte Hotelteil als solcher ist beeindruckend. Es gibt wirklich sehr schöne Aufenthaltsräume, alles ist sehr großzügig angelegt und man kann erahnen warum das Hotel einmal „legendary“ war. Während die Zimmer als solche durchaus OK sind, weht im Bad der Geist der 60er…was aber wirklich nicht gut ist - das Hotel spart offensichtlich eklatant an Personal! Eine Bar ist ganz geschlossen, die zweite nur sporadisch besetzt, die meiste Zeit müssen Getränke an der Rezeption geordert werden, wo man zwar bemüht aber auch unterbesetzt ist. Besonders eklatant fällt der Personalmangel beim Frühstück auf - eine Person die heillos überfordert versucht, Speisen und Getränke nachzufüllen…kann nicht klappen! Schade! So wird das nichts mit dem „legendary Hotel“….

Fint hotell, men kjipt basseng-område.

Hadde eit veldig fint opphold. Hyggelig personale, god frokost og god service. Veldig fint å få bruke basseng etter utsjekk mens vi venta på toget. Bassengområdet var skikkelig nedtur. Lause ledninger i bassengområdet og søppel (inkl. kondom og plaster). Her trengs det både oppgraderinger og søppelbøtte, for dette var ekkelt! 4 åringen fant også søppel i bassenget.
