"Second time staying here. The room was clean, no complaints about that. But this time the bed was uncomfortable, woke up with terrible backaches. The outside pool was closed and apparently not opening for the whole season, and we asked for a later check out (even willing to pay) and they only allowed 30 minutes, even though the hotel was basically empty. It’s a good location but this stay was disappointing. Don’t know if I’ll be back."

"The quick thinking and problem-solving skills saved the reservation. Because what began as a usual (a second return to this hotel within the past month), quickly went a different direction. For reference, this all took place at 11:15pm. The first room I was given a key for didn't work. Went back to the front desk for a new key. This second room wasn't ready as it was clear housekeeping had not yet prepared this room for a new occupant. And then the third key was successful as the room was freshly cleaned and prepped for someone new. That being said, the shower/tub seemed as though it has seen a lot of use and could be replaced if budgets allow for it. The cosmetics of the room also reverberated a feeling that the hotel is due for a renovation soon. Again, quick thinking of staff saved the day. Breakfast buffet was great again!"

"Our room was infested with hundreds of ants and that is only what was visible. When brought up with the service desk they just stated they would mention it to the manager, took no responsibility of the uncleanliness and did not offer any reprieve from our situation. Highly disappointed in the stay and continue to feel like I’m crawling with them."

"Expedia needs to update this properties availability. There is NO RESTAURANT, BAR OR BUFFETT BREAKFAST on site. The inside smells stale. The rooms with a balcony are in the facility! You have to request a outdoor balcony. The facility needs a lot of TLC! The outside needs TLC. The grassy area is half grass half dirt with weeds. The building needs a desperate re-paint. There is no help available with your luggage. The beach is approximately 50×50ft. No water tours or boats. The lake is beautiful and very Zen. The staff have told me that they have many complaints about what is offered online via what is actually offered once they arrive. This facility could once again be a beautiful welcoming get-a-way with some work. Including the vacant dilapidated Ox Tavern on site. All this place offers is a clean bed and a relaxing lake to look at."

"The staff had no clue where things were the breakfast was messy juice machine broken coffee machine also they had a pot of crappy coffee.there pool was down and that is why I chose this spot.was told it hasn't worked in years.managment were rude.i never used this site to travel and I'm not very happy at all with my very expensive trip.the hotel was old and rundown the outside wasn't kept up the TV had 26 channels and half were blurry.i would like to know why you have this place as an option it seems like a drug or party place other guess I talked to said everything I'm telling you about it .a complete and udder hell hole.not how I want to remember my only childs graduation.im from Florida n he lives up north so money was my reason for the place but I would have paid more for somewhere else and wish I did"
