Beautiful little apartment in Holmavic. We stayed for two nights while exploring the western fjords. Easy self check in, well-equipped apartment, immaculate, with nice amenities!
Lovely old house, cute interior. But be aware very thin walls so you hear everything from your neighbours. Has a kitchen for cooking but I think misses an extractor van. Smelled very bad of cooking though out the house.

Basic stay - Great location
Great location in Hólmavik.
The stay was good, basic rooms yet well equiped kitchen.
We did not like that everything felt unattended. We did not meet anyone in two days and we did not receive the entry code on time, so on arrival we had to google their phone number and call for instructions (they should have it more visible)
Overall, everything was very clean yet a bit old. Its terrace is the perfect place to enjoy the Northern Lights!

A very nice, clean, and cozy guesthouse with a full kitchen and private bath and room. We stayed in apartment 1 and highly recommend it for anyone looking to stay in a quiet part of town, and use all the amenities of a great Icelandic guesthouse. Restaurant within walking distance as well as great view of the harbor. Museum of sorcery across the street.
The guest house is a basic bedroom upstairs. You do have a shared shower downstairs and the beds are comfortable. There is a kitchen to prepare food with dishes and the shared living room offers a TV and couches. While we were there we met the Czech caretaker who was wonderful. The place is not as clean as other guest houses we stayed at in Iceland (which you could eat off the floor). It was a good deal in the right place at the right time. Location is good if you are near the West Fjord area. The town is small but has a grocery and a restaurant. Buy food at the grocery the night before for breakfast in the AM. There is nothing near the area once your leave town.

Good enough, though light isolation wasn't great in summer and the kitchen could benefit from cooking essentials.

The house is old, giving it charm and character! The floors are beautiful. We stayed in one of the queen size rooms, which was ample for the 2 of us! Unfortunately the second night was a FULL house with a poor mannered family yelling throughout the house for a good portion of the night, and the walls are PAPER thin!! Also, the shower drains incredibly slow so you have to turn it off while sudsing up, then turn it back on. The poor mannered family flooded the bathroom and we had to clean it up!
Overall, I would stay again! It was a great home base to get around the West Fjords.
