"The Bridge Inn is in an ideal location for Scafell Pike only 20 minutes away. The restaurant and bar have been done out very nicely and it has a warm and cosy feel. Our evening meal and breakfast were very good. However my room was very tired and needed some maintenance. The floor boards creek so you can hear people walking around in other rooms. But the bed was very soft and cosy. The lady on reception seemed under pressure and wasn't as welcoming as she should have been. But if you want accommodation in the middle of nowhere then the Bridge Inn is ideal."

"We stayed in a room with hot tub, it was gorgeous. The view was nice. They provided towels, robes and slippers. There were also shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the room. We had food in the onsite pub which was lovely we really enjoyed it. The spa is also very nice and relaxing and you are able to order drinks in there. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel. The concierge was very welcoming and gave us a tour and showed us to our room. "

"I had such a delightful stay! The room was spacious and clean, with a breathtaking view that added to the enjoyment. The staff were incredibly friendly, making me feel right at home. I particularly appreciated the breakfast menu, which featured delicious vegan options. We made sure to reserve a table every morning. All in all, it was a truly fantastic experience!"

"Lovely hotel with good food and friendly staff. We stayed in one of the self catering cottages but were able to book evening meals & breakfasts in the restaurant. Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds."
