"Extremely long check in. Three stations yet only one was staffed "

"The apt mentions it has a restaurant, but it closed during covid and hasn’t reopened. It does serve an excellent breakfast, but the restaurant isn’t open for lunch or dinner. I was there on an Easter Monday, and the majority of the restaurants in the area were closed for the holiday. I would not have stayed at the hotel if I had known the restaurant was closed. "

"This is a tidy little hotel with some architectural charm. The location is also great if you want convenient access to inter-city and local trains. It is literally across the street from the H’burg central station, so all the main U- and S-Bahn trains are within a two minute walk, or less if you’re not weighed down with bags or small children (I probably would not recommend it for those with small children). The proximity to the Hauptbohof station also meant a bit of hustle and bustle, but we did not find that a problem, and it came with some amenities (below). The desk staff were really friendly and accommodating, and we had no problems communicating with them in English (we don’t speak more than a few words of German, so we appreciated their friendly greetings in English). There is a major performing arts center (Shauspielhaus) a block away, so that meant that there were several good eateries within just a few steps of the front door (highly recommend Capri and Vesuvius, both Italian, and Schifferborse; and the breakfast at Mitte Hamburg about three blocks away is delightful—pro tip: get the fluffy pancakes!"

"All was very fine. The hotel is very good placed . The stuff is friendly and you get all you want at the breakfast. At Eastern all guests got a little bunny infront of the door, very nice. "

"Das Frühstück ist gut. Hier sollte jeder etwas finden, um gut in den Tag zu starten. Unser Zimmer war ein Familienzimmer mit einem Doppelbett und einem Etagenbett für die Kids und von der Größe her vollkommen ausreichend. Das Bad ist sehr geräumig mit einer großen Dusche, mit Regendusche! Unser Zimmer war sauber und auch der Service war gut. Die Verkehrsverbindungen waren auch wirklich super! Für einenn Städtetrip können wir das Hotel wirklich empfehlen! "

"The only comment is regarding the breakfast buffet. We were staying over Palm Sunday weekend and kids were on spring break - so the hotel was full of families with children. The buffet was always crowded. The first few days we went late to avoid the rush, but found out most of the items were not being replenished and those that were available had been picked over. Forget about waiting in line for a cooked egg or omelet. They only have one cook station and the line would stretch back into the other self serve sections. If I did stay there again I would not select the included breakfast rate and use the difference in money to go to a nearby cafe."

"This was our 2nd stay here and again we are very happy overall with the hotel. Particularly enjoyed free tea and coffee in the restaurant for hotel guests."
