Super 8 by Wyndham Dyersville near Field of Dreams
10/10 Excellent
"Very clean. Looks like it was recently updated. Close to restaurants and grocery store.
The breakfast was a little sparse but not unexpected given it's a Super 8. Overall, a good value for the money."
"We went to Grand Harbor Convention Center for a Junior Pool Tournament event. Stay in this hotel for a whole week. Very satisfied as far as I concern. The facility is a little outdated. So do not expect it look like a 4-star hotel. But the rooms are maintain really clean. The breakfast is good too. It is right by the river. So very convenient for a relaxing evening walk. I will definitely stay here again if the event is at the same location next year."
"The overall appearance of the hotel was great. Had all the amenities needed.
I ordered a beer at Caroline’s Bar and it was flat. Came from the tap. They were great and gave me another beer, a different one than I wanted. But that one was also bad. They subtracted the first from my bill but not the second. I gave both back and did not drink them."
"This is a gorgeous and unique place, in a historic neighborhood whose charm is second to none. Very glad we stayed there! The only drawback was the lack of breakfast which is apparently only on weekends. There should have been a first-rate coffee setup to make up for this, but supplies were short and there was no silverware. Also, no live television in the room, only youtube TV."

8/10 Good
"Only one person at the check in desk and they were on the phone. Other workers milling around but no one acknowledged the line of people wanting to check in. But once he got off the phone check in was very quick. Elevator was very slow. We usually took the stairs down. Pool was very nice. Loved the atrium look. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel which was amazing. Had dinner there and food was delicious. Sports bar atmosphere. We sat out on the patio. Breakfast in morning was good but average. At least the eggs actually tasted like eggs. Check out was simple and ladies at desk were very friendly and asked about our stay and what our plans were for the day. Would stay here again. Centrally located which made for a good home base. Safe location right off of Hwy 20 though when you have to cross to come in or leave you need patience as it is a very busy road."
