"The property was well located for a night's stay before catching the ferry to Belfast early morning. However, the room was not that clean. The furniture was sticky. The carpet did not appear to have been hoovered, there was a teaspoon lying on the floor. Although the owners explained they would not greet us personally because of COVID safey, this is well beyond the restrictions timetable and it would have been preferable to have a better service. "John was very welcoming and had excellent local knowledge to help us enjoy his lical area. The rooms and facilities were delightful, clean, comfortable. "Lovely staff. We had 2 very large suitcases and were worried about lugging them up the stairs as there is no lift, however a staff member did this for us, which was great. The room was comfortable, and the view was lovely. We did eat at the restaurant downstairs, but it took an hour to get our meal. The restaurant was packed to the rafters, and the staff were run off their feet (a table next to us walked out) - it seemed that were not enough staff to cater to the amount of people. Apart from that, it was a nice place to stay, and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again."
