--- WORSTE PLACE EVER - AVOID AT ALL COSTS! ---
Late flight, land, receive email saying we have to pay HK$29,414 deposit at check-in... Hotels usually place a pre-approval on your credit card, but HK$29,414 is AU$5,300! And must be actually paid, not pre-approved. Arrive 11:30pm, Myself, my wife, 2 children under 10, room booked accordingly. Told they are NOT a hotel, but serviced apartments, we are expected to sign a "lease" and pay 1 month deposit, which we get back 3 WEEKS after check out!!! Ridiculous! Argue for an hour, allowed to go to room and discuss with manager in the morning. Now nearly 1am. Still forced to pay entire deposit. Only 1 bed, kids are forced to sleep on couch and floor. Argue about providing bedding for them, told we should pay more, even though room was booked and paid for for 4 people. Noise... The "Apartment" is in the middle of party district, mid-levels with steep stairs between streets and pubs on all sides. Partying so loud you can't sleep, starts 8pm, finishes 5am. Streets filled with trash every morning, mostly cleaned each day, trashed again each night. Items in the room that didn't work: WiFi broken, have to use another levels low signal wifi Internet so slow it was impossible to work from the room as intended Air conditioning leaking about 2ltrs of water per day Shower drain blocked with hair on arrival and we were told it was our responsibility! Scales did not work Worst place we have ever stayed.

Thank you for taking your time to review your stay period. Please accept our sincere apologies for not meeting your expectations during your stay period at our apartment. We understand that deposit payment may not meet your expectation with our apartment’s requirement and may have started 1st impression worst towards our apartment. But, we hope you understand that we are Apartment as mention in Expedia.com and our policy. A minimum of 28 nights or a maximum of 1-month security deposit amount depending on the length of stay will be collected upon check-in at the property, as collateral in the event where there are any damages or breakage to the property amenities by the guest. However, the deposit paid will be fully refunded to the Guest within 3 weeks after the check-out date. Any damages may be subjected to a deduction of the deposit amount. Being at the heart of Lan Kwai Fong, Central, elegant commercial business district, shopping areas and entertainment, noise is a concern especially during weekends and we sincerely apologize for this. Though there are double glazed window installed, definitely for next time we suggest to book higher floor to minimize noise level. For Wi-Fi, as a necessary adjustment, new router set-up has been installed at each room.We hope you will visit us again to see improvement on your next visit. With deepest regret for this inconvenience caused by us unintentionally, we apologies again.
