Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Uncasville Casino Area
2/10 Terrible
"It so bad neber seen an hotel with no amenities what so ever. With cold roim. Sml crowded limited space charging.over $ 100 per night I want a partial refund the consumer DPT shod know about this."
"We had a really lovely stay for a long weekend in the off-season and overall had a great experience. The hotel has a beautiful setting, and while our water view room did include some rooftop in the sightline, you could still catch the water from certain angles, which was still a nice touch.
The indoor pool is on the smaller side, and each time we checked it was occupied by children, so we didn’t end up using it—but it’s great that it’s available as an amenity. We really enjoyed spending time at the Torpedo Lounge—the atmosphere was great, and the live music one evening was such a highlight. Breakfast at the 1969 restaurant was also very good and a perfect way to start the day.
One of the biggest conveniences was the shuttle service into town—it made everything so easy and stress-free. The spa was another standout and a great addition to the stay, though it would have been nice if there were a few more amenities or spaces to relax before or after treatments.
Since we visited in the off-season, there wasn’t a ton to do directly on the property, but it’s easy to imagine how amazing it would be during the warmer months with full access to the outdoor spaces and amenities. Overall, a very enjoyable stay with great service—we’d definitely consider coming back in season to experience it fully."
"Horrible service. Room wasn’t cleaned. Asked 6 times throughout the day. They even sent a cleaning crew up who came to the door and told us they were cleaning our room next. We waited in the lobby and killed a chunk of the afternoon. It was raining so we were just trying to relax. Got back to the room and it was still not cleaned. The a man came by before we went to dinner to clean it. All he did was put sheets on the bed.
They told us since we booked through Expedia that they cannot refund me anything. They claimed they would have comped me my 2 nights. Expedia didn’t really save me money on the room so I’ll be booking directly from now on.
Horrible service overall at the hotel. It’s a shame too cause I always stay here "
"Headliner is, worth the money adding you get what you pay for. Friendly staff, clean, worth the price. Flip side : definitely dated, grounds were a bit in disrepair, on the bed had a sheet heavier sheet and no blanket? bed and pillows were a bit stiff, van was in bad need of shocks and was concerned on the way back, if it was full and would we have to wait another 45 minutes to go back?
Overall, B- and would stay there again."
