Beautiful property, right on the beach - rooms were clean, and well appointed. The resort also has a great restaurant on site, and is a 20-30 min drive to other restaurants, cafes and bars in Placencia. Staff were wonderful throughout as well

Our group of two couples spent a week in a villa on the beach side of the Umaya Resort and absolutely loved it. The unit was nicely appointed and truthfully feet away from the Caribbean Sea. Placencia Resort
Unfortunately, this resort wasn't worth what I paid. There was black mold in the shower, stains on the towels and bedding, loud construction on premises, and it took two hours and 3 phone calls to get a roll of TP sent to the room. We didn't swim in the pool or ocean but the pool and beach appeared ...

Just an amazing place. The staff is so friendly and smiling, they really know what customer service mean. And also we did not expect the food to be so good. The restaurant is as amazing as the rest.
