"Lovely hotel close to the beach. The Salt restaurant in the hotel is really excellent for both breakfast and evening meals. Wonderfully helpful staff in both the restaurant and hotel. Lovely stop off before flying home."

"I spent in Aiden's court my first nights in Sri Lanka before moving forward. This is a big 3-rooms house with a full kitchen. Microwave, gas stove and fridge are included as well tableware. There is everything you need for your stay. Is possible to have a deal for airport transfer service with good car and very good price. You only need to ask. Host is very helpful and very nice. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Waterland. It is convenient for the airport but in a quiet spot, situated by the river. It is beautiful. We had a great private villa with a good size pool. The staff and service were excellent. In particular Raganan was brilliant and looked after us very well. Incredibly good value for money and a short Tuk Tuk ride into Negombo town. "

"This is an ideal place to reset your body — with Ayurvedic treatments, meals tailored to your body type, and yoga every morning and evening. Most people seemed to stay for 3–4 days, but I really recommend a longer stay. I stayed for 16 days and was able to fully detox and relax. The staff are all warm and kind. It might be a good idea to bring something to pass the time during those little in-between moments when you’re not sure what to do. You can easily go out for short trips of 2–3 hours...

"Had a comfortable and luxurious stay here for our first three nights in Sri Lanka. Travelled in June which is off season / monsoonal however we barely saw any rain - sunbaked by the pool most days and was very relaxing to travel in the quiet season - at times had the whole pool and grounds to ourself. Buffet breakfast was incredible and had soooo many options. Grounds were beautifully maintained and the gym was perfect too"
