"We didn’t even get to stay in the hotel waited 30minutes outside for them to tell us the people before damaged the property so we could not stay so they left a 18year old and 17 year old with no where to stay 3hours away from home so not the best visit if I say so myself and will not be going back "

"A lovely stay in a cute old stable. Lovely provision of cereal, bread, butter, milk and coffee (including some for the cafetière for those like me who don’t drink instant). The fridge has a small freezer at the top which is great. The living room is double height and very comfy with underfloor heating, the bedroom is upstairs on the mezzanine. The owners have really thought about the things you need when staying away in self-catered accommodation and it shows! 10/10"

"We had such a lovely 2 night stay here! The lodge was in pristine condition, with all necessities like tea, coffee, milk. The hot tub was ready for us to get in. There were plenty of useful extras like iron, travel cot, hairdryers, plenty of toilet rolls. There was an en-suite with shower and a family bathroom too. "Arriving to check in to have to try and contact someone via watsapp only to be given a silly excuse as to why they didnt have a room ,apparently previous guests had damaged the property is check out not 11am this should have been noted before 7pm . . "Not fit for family with small children, rooms were smelly possibly were not used/ lack of ventilation. We stayed in the loft room and sleep was disturbed as it was raining and there were plenty of noise of drops on loft windows. Also, noise from main road. "

"Apartment was lovely - they had thought of everything, but what then let it down, was the use of cheap blinds that were almost see through and poorly fitting, and no curtains in the bedroom! There was also an overwhelming smell of what seemed to be damp. The apartment was really well thought out and very comfortable, but just let down by those 2 things."

"Very helpful and friendly owners, great location for visiting our new granddaughter. 2 mins walk to lovely Pearsons park. Some lovely welcoming items, lots of fresh fruit, bread, butter, milk and cake all vegan as owners are, a couple of things i would suggest is maybe a door curtain could be put in place as there was no privacy going from the bathroom across the kitchen to the bedroom also there was no smoke alarm present. All in all a nice stay 👍 "
