"Hotels.com should ensure that the pictures on their site are current. We arrived to a run down building and vast unkempt car park with only a few cars but a small camp of junkies. The interior of this vast hotel is really old and in need of refurbishment. The disused restaurant was full of toot, including a motor mower. Our room was on the face of it clean but my wife was far from impressed with the heavily stained pillows beneath the clean pillowcases. We didn't dare to look at the mattress!"

"A great hotel . We had a one bedroom suite. Thou it wasn't an ocean view. we were high enough (6 floor) to see the ocean (cruise ship went by) and the mountains. It's right on the beach and a close walk to town . It's the best place to stay in parksville (my opinion )"

"The rooms were clean and the staff was so helpful and kind. The only think that was totally out of their control was that our room was by the road and was very noisy during the day and into the evening. All in all it was a great place to stay and reasonably priced. I would definitely stay again!"

"The room was very clean and had a wonderful ocean view. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the waves. Staff was very friendly and told us about renting by the month during the winter. There was enough parking for the time we were there. As far as I know, they don't have a kitchen; but there are some in some of the rooms. Our room didn't have one."
