"Impeccable service! So we did not indicate that we have two children joining us as we always do when we book our accommodation. The owner couple accommodated us in all ways, providing the children with meals and even remaking the bed such that it fit the four of us. What stood out the most is that we have forgotten our travel adapter. When we did not respond to their email as we were out at the safari, the owner even drove out to the theme park to pass it to us. It was over 20 min drive out in...

"self online check in was very simple and efficient. the house was spectacularly clean and in a very quiet area; perfect for a weekend getaway however, the hotspring was not available and the sauna was only until 22:00 there was no curtains so the rooms were all bright when the sun started rising. kitchen was fully equipped. we were a family of 6; 4 adults and 2kids. but none of the equipments were for 6ppl; we found 5 pairs of slippers and 5 toothbrush only. Top Hosenji Onsen Hotel Reviews

Fairfield By Marriott Kumamoto Aso

10/10 Excellent

"Great location with good room sizes. Only down side is no food on premise but they have microwaves, ovens/toasters, free coffee and tea and a big lounge/eating area. Parking is free but does fill up by the evening so be mindful of that if planning on arriving late."

Kamenoi Hotel Aso

10/10 Excellent

"We had a great time at the hotel. It is very quiet and the location is amazing. We really enjoyed the buffet dinner and breakfast and the onsen was a great way to start and end the day! Our room was spacious (twin beds) with a great view of the mountain. We will definitely come back if we ever come back in the area. We even considered extending our stay but couldn’t because of other plans. Highly recommended for a relaxing time."
