"Staff were not helpful. We stay to eat at one sushi restaurant inside but we order stake for dinner. Food was not cooked well and waitress didn't even came onces to check on as. I have to ASK multiple times for water. She didn't check on as about our food or drinks, but yet when it came to the tip it was included in tbe bill. We had no choice. Pool need to be clean. Lots of dead bugs in the pool. For a hotel that apparently is one of the best in el salvador. I would say absolutely NOT. Room was not worth the price. Shower was not the best. The day before we stay in the Hyatt in downtown, that was way better hotel by far. VERY disappointment experience."

"Hotel Barcelo is very good and very convenient access to many restaurants and the area , the staff very friendly and professional I want to thank Vilma, the lady who made me happy every time I returned and found the hotel room very clean and the bed impeccably beautiful."

"The hotel Villa Serena is close to shopping and dining. My room was very small. Even dough there is a small area where they can put a small table. For the luggage or personal things. Is good that it has great AC and hot water. And Wi-Fi. That is a plus. It is a little bit noisy. But I that might be normal. Overall is comfortable enough to spend the night. The staff was very nice also. Very helpful. "

"A great hotel with great staff. We stayed for 2 nights, the Wi-Fi was excellent, we had a great check in. Breakfast was top notch. Pool was clean and when we stayed no one else was around. You had hammocks and plenty of sun beds. Good restaurants close by, and the area felt very safe. The front desk booked our taxi back to the airport for a great price, was cheaper than uber and the vehicle was in great condition. If you're going to use a hotel in San Salvador I would recommend this without hesitation."
