"They didn’t mention that housekeeping was every other day or needed to be requested at time of checking. After my first night, I requested for my room to be clean the next day. I guess they missed my request so I tried again the following morning, at the front desk. Once again my request was not addressed and ended up staying 3 nights without any housekeeping. It might be optional and not included in the price, not sure. It a shame as I like that hotel and 8’ve stayed there many times."

"Couple in our mid 30s. Our 2nd stay at the Blossom. Wonderful (neat, clean, organized) hotel and hospitality: Ordered room service, went by the sky bar, sat by the rooftop pool, requested extra pillows, utilized valet service, room had a dyson hair dryer. All services were available and provided timely. Used the complimentary slippers and robe, so cozy walking around the hotel. The shower in the rooms on both stays were perfect for relaxation after a long day, water runs perfectly adjustable to the warmth you need. I look forward to staying here in the future. "

"Our stay at the Holiday Inn Downtown Houston was extremely disappointing. The hotel feels very old and poorly maintained. The rooms are incredibly small and did not feel clean, which made the stay uncomfortable from the start. One of the biggest issues was the lack of hot water. When we called the front desk, we were told to let the water run for 30 minutes before showering to see if it would warm up, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel. To make matters worse, the restaurant downstairs was closed with no notice provided to guests, leaving us scrambling to find other options. Unfortunately, the staff was also rude and less than helpful when we tried to address these issues. Instead of assisting, they seemed uninterested in resolving concerns or improving the situation. Overall, the experience was frustrating and far below expectations. There are plenty of other hotels in downtown Houston—I would strongly recommend staying somewhere else. Just don’t."
