Rooms and common areas were neat and clean. Breakfast is not included with this hotel (as stated on their website), but coffee is and it was much appreciated. The front desk was happy to hold our luggage in a locked room since we checked in before our room was ready. We stayed here for the FIRST World Championships and it was very convenient to the George R Brown Convention Center. The area feels very safe and I wasn't worried about walking to and from there. Would be happy to stay here next year as well.

This hotel was very contemporary and up to date. The room could use a bit more cleaning, but has everything you need for a short stay.

This place was terrible. They don’t clean, don’t have clean towels. Front desk help was non existent! They charged $300 for deposit when it was only supposed to be $150. After they said they only took $150 but my bank said $300. Never staying here again!!!

The shower and toilet was combined in 1 space, the handheld shower head did not tilt so the toilet, toilet tissue got soaked, water sat on opposite side of shower all night and if I had to use bathroom in middle of night I had to put on shoes because shower floor still had standing water. So all in all the roll in shower was awful. The mini fridge was just sitting on the floor alone with nothing surrounding it, it was just there, kinda weird but at least it worked. Shower situation was the absolute worst though

Check in was terrible the agent clearly did not care . I did not feel welcomed at all . Very rude and not hospitable at all .i Would only stay again if I have no other options around .

The Worst.
This was one of the worst hotels experiences I’ve had. I was traveling with four other coworkers, we lasted only two of three nights because of our combined wide ranging issues and safety concerns. Issues were: dirty floors and walls, no comforter on bed, multiple broken lights, leaving lights off and returning to them on along with TV after requesting no service as well as a shattered window from a gun shot on the 10th floor across from a parking garage.

DO NOT VALET THEY STEAL OUT YOUR CAR
Valet my vehicle and 8 pair of sunglasses was stolen. I should have called the police but the general manager is going to see who worked those days.

We had a time. The front desk rep for the evening check-in 12/2/23, and the front desk rep for our checkout 12/4/23 were awesome. Whatever we needed they assisted. I highly recommend this location. It was convenient in walking distance to everywhere.

The front desk staff were ABSOLUTELY amazing. They made us feel welcome from the moment we checked in and chexked in on us each time we went out to ensure that we did not need anything. The reason I did not give 5 stars for cleaniness is because the initial room that I was given had a smokey smell, which should have been caught and an air cleansing bomb should been used when the room was cleaned. However, the feont desk apologized profusely foe the smell and for having ti put me on a different floor than my party. They quickly reassigned me a new room, which was very clean.

Fantastic place to stay !
Our stay here was fantastic! The staff is friendly/ helpful, we were not from the area and the staff helped us out by giving recommendations on places to eat nearby. There is NO parking lot for the hotel but they do have valet and parking garages nearby in walking distance from the hotel. The room was very nice, clean and spacious definitely got our money’s worth. One of my favorite parts of the room was the modern stand in shower and body mirror.

Clean, safe and nice vibe!
Front desk and bartender were sooo nice when I arrived a little early! The vibe is nice and chill. Felt very safe. As I left my room the next day, the person cleaning the room next to mine asked how my stay was and the condition of my room, seemed to take pride in my good review of the room. Will stay again!

High ceiling, quiet and nice staff
Staff at ALoft was very friendly, courteous and helpful. The room we stayed was clean and quiet. The wooden panel between two queen beds came off every time we plug or unplug what made us a bit uneasy. Otherwise our stay was excellent!
