"We had a marvellous time at Caracal Lodge. It was a wonderful away from it all experience. Magtree Cottage was very comfortable and well equipped even though there is no electricity, power being supplied by gas appliances, paraffin lamps and LED lighting. It was magical to wake up with views of the resident giraffe family as well as zebra, impala, horses and a pet pig! Outside there was a braai, fire pit in a lovely shaded area and a small pond. Exploring the 300 hectare game park there...

"The apartment was extremely comfortable and had all the needed amenities in the bathroom and kitchen. The entire pace was spotless and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. They're also centrally located so shops as well as the N4 highway are easy to access. Despite the central location, it's still very quiet with lots of trees and birds around. Highly recommended!"

"Perfect for the business trip I was on, with the bonus of being able to walk out the gate at back of hotel to an access road (overgrown at the time, needs a little TLC) to the botanical gardens (the hotel accommodation includes free access to the gardens and waterfall which are well worth a visit). Staff friendly and even remember my name at checkout without have to look me up on the system."
