"We were travelling back to the UK and found the location and price perfect for travelling to the Le Shuttle at Calais. The staff both reception, restaurant and bar very warm and helpful. The establishment appears to be a centre for trades,driving and commercial travellers and the owners appear to have settled on a budget clientele and thus some of the amenities are very tired. I refer to the room carpets and furniture. The beds were very clean as was the bathroom. I would have no hesitation recommending this for a budget stay."

"Exceptionally clean room and bathroom. Compact but had everything you need. Being able to park right outside the room was a huge bonus as a motorcycle rider. Lighting options were nice inside the room, and having a microwave and fridge provided as standard was brilliant. Definitely would stay again if I'm in the area again."
