"BEWARE!! Room was fine but I found out the hard way (by the local police dept) it is a DSS hotel (dept social services) and houses the homeless. I pulled in the parking lot to find 15 people just loitering in the parking lot, drinking and smoking. Went across the street to get a ball lock and door lock for my trailer, which I parked away from anyone/thing else. Checked in, put luggage in room and left for dinner. Came back and 1 of the homeless guys was pulling my trailer across the parking lot by hand. Near fight ensued so needless to say 3 police cars showed up and I immediatly checked out and asked for refund. BEWARE!"
"This is an old fashioned, family run motel. The place was spotlessly clean and the lady at the front desk was very sweet. Both the water temperature and pressure in the shower and sink were inconsistent."
"We'll start with the pool, the main reason we choose this hotel. The pool was not available due to a blown water heater. Then all the electric car charges were not available due to running in the same line as the blown water heater. We got back from dinner the ceiling in the bathroom of our hotel room was cracked and falling in so this prompted us to get 2nd room. We walked into the 2nd room and the sheets were all over the room and trash can was upside-down on top of the desk and the bathroom was a mess. Clearly not cleaned. We immediately went back and after waiting for some time we got a 3rd room. They had no other rooms available on the 1st floor so we had to go to the 2nd floor for the 3rd room which was fine because theres and elevator right.... not so much the elevator broke down over night and we were told just use the stairs. Which is soo easy with two small kids and a stroller. The continental breakfast wasnt big enough for all the guest saying at the hotel. We came to eat and no egg/ bagels/ bread or muffins were left and weren't being restocked.
To top it off the maintenance man was walking around with a bucket of tools in one hand and a blunt in the other. Not even trying to hide it. For a smoke free hotel the whole place reeked."
"This inn is amazing! A beautiful and unique octagon house that has been lovingly restored and decorated! Our innkeepers Kim and Gary were excellent hosts who truly care about the inn and sharing their love of the property and area with us. Remarkable attention to inn keeping details to ensure a pleasant stay and Kim’s breakfasts were creative and delicious. They had many great suggestions for places to explore during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return again soon - we highly recommend this inn if you plan to visit the Finger Lakes"
