"I stayed at ITC Royal Bengal for three nights and had a wonderful experience. Check-in was smooth, and the reception staff upgraded me to a beautiful Exclusive Room with a fantastic view of the city skyline. Service throughout the stay was excellent, from housekeeping to dining. A special mention for the in-room dining team. On the night of December 31st, my sister and I returned late from a gathering and placed an order around 2:30 a.m. Despite the late hour, the team called to confirm the order and delivered freshly cooked, hot food within an hour. That level of service and care truly stood out and made us feel very well looked after. The restaurants were equally impressive, offering high-quality food with a great variety. I also loved spending time at the Sky Lounge. I met friends there a few times and thoroughly enjoyed the live music, ambiance, and overall vibe of the place. What really sets ITC Royal Bengal apart is the balance of luxury, warmth, and professionalism. Every interaction, from the front desk to dining and housekeeping, reflected genuine hospitality. I would absolutely choose to stay here again whenever I visit Kolkata to see friends and family. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a refined, comfortable, and memorable stay."

"The room was spotless, and the staff were very responsive. Check-in and check-out were smooth. However, the view out of the window was depressing: old, abandoned, multi-storied government quarters. I realize that the hotel cannot do anything about it. Our room keys often failed, and they needed to be rekeyed. This was for multiple rooms that our family used. So it looks like a more general problem. While the staff was very responsive and addressed the issue immediately, this did cause us some inconvenience. The location is unbeatable. Very close to the Gariahat and all the hustle and bustle. A lot of street food and street shopping options are within walking distance. The hopping malls are not far either. We used the hotel car for a few trips and airport pickup and dropoff. They are reasonably priced, and the drivers were great. Ubers were also very easy to get. The restaurant is nice. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. However, the Indian options for lunch and dinner were often too spicy. They may be intended for Indian guests, but they are too spicy for Western palates. This is unlike the other 5-star restaurants in India I experienced on the same trip. "

"The hotel was wonderful. I was a solo traveler and felt very safe here. The concierge Amit seemed to be looking out for me. He was very helpful in everyway. I was able to walk to India Museum from this hotel as well as Saint John's Church for the Black hole of Kolkata memorial. The breakfast in the morning was very nice, although the staff did seem to have a hard time keeping everything fully stocked. I would definitely stay again."
