It’s an old colonial type of hotel . It has retained its character which is different to modern hotels . Staff are friendly and always on hand . Sea view is excellent . Ideal warm waters to swim safely . I would recommend this hotel without a doubt

I really enjoyed my stay at this location. It is older building, but that gave it some character. Rooms were spacious, access to the beach area easy, very friendly staff. Since this is a smaller facility, it was not crowded, staff got to know you which made the stay more pleasurable. I would definitely stay at this location again.

Lovely hotel in the best location on the beach

A lovely quaint colonial style hotel which we found to be exactly as described. In the best position on the beach and with only 21 rooms there were sunbeds for all without any stress. Service was excellent from all the staff, breakfast was limited but more than sufficient and the rooms clean and comfortable if not a little dated. We spent a long time researching the area and hotels on offer and came away well pleased with our choice. We will definitely stay again

My second stay at the Hotel. Very laidback and quiet. Access directly to the beach. 100m from quite a large shopping complex and a slow 15 minute walk to the central tourist area Will definitely stay again ALL staff very polite and helpful.

Great place!

I'm happy that Baan Bayan is still around after the covid-19 pandemic. The place was beautiful as our previous visit. It is a quite and peaceful place. Happy to recommend this place to anyone visiting Hua Hin.

Rooms that have a bathroom from another century...

Described as vintage property, retro. It's not, it's just dated. particularly the bathroom. You need to be an acrobat to get into, or out of the bath/shower and when you do the water is either scalding hot or lukewarm and barely trickles out anyway. The A/C sounds like a jet engine in the room, mine broke twice and was no better after the fix. The property is sandwiched between a Marriot and an Intercontinental, both new properties, all charging roughly the same. Which would you prefer a room with modern plumbing, and facilities or one with a lavatory you can't throw paper into?
