Been staying at Veranda lodge many times. Great location, wonderful staff and a great hotel with a bit of a rustic, jungle feel. We love it. Beach front restaurant and great sun rise and views

An absolutely incredible property for the price. Location right on the beach, next to kite surfing and other activities. It needs some new paint in a few places, but the overall experience was as good as any of the pricier boutique hotels we stayed in. Silent mini-splits with good air conditioning. The beds were a bit hard for my taste, but I slept well anyway.

Great location, good friendly staff.
The location and the staff were excellent, right on the beach, which was clean, soft sand and safe as the beach had a very gentle slope. However, I was concerned as there was no safety zone marked out and people on jet skis could get to close for comfort. The hotel itself was a lot older than the photos suggest, but still great value for money. It was nice to have breakfast in the beachfront restaurant and plan the day. It was also nice to laze on the beach front restaurant bean bags with a cocktail as the sun set. We were in one of the rooms, the ‘bungalows’ looked more like garden sheets than actual bungalows and are in a hotel courtyard not on the beach, so I would recommend booking an actual room. The air conditioning worked well in our room.

We had an amazing start to our 4-night stay: the train we were traveling on was delayed, meaning we wouldn't be arriving in Hua Hin until 2am. We notified the hotel about our delay, and they kindly organised a taxi to pick us up from the station and ensured a quick & smooth check in. Phew - such a relief! The room, whilst slightly dated, was spacious and well appointed. A large, comfy bed, communal outdoor lounge (which we always seemed to have to ourselves) and 2 balconies (handy for drying wet swimwear) made our stay very relaxing. The property, which is absolute beach-front, also has a refreshing pool plus a dining area overlooking the sand and sea. Conveniently located down a quite side street, you have loads of shopping malls and eating options within strolling distance. Highly recommended and we hope to return one day.

Beach Resort
An excellent location if you require a beach resort as the apartments are directly on the beach. Reception and cleaning staff very attentive and friendly albeit restaurant staff not interactive and aloof. Car parking very restrictive and entry road very narrow only allowing access for one vehicle at a time. Overall an enjoyable 5 days.

Relaxing stay at this lovely hotel
Return beach vacation to this well located hotel at the heart of Huahin. Beachfront and easy walking to a market village mall. The room is spacious and clean. Love the balcony for morning coffee or evening drink. Lots of dining options nearby and we love the beach restaurants just adjacent to this property.

Beautiful beach, relaxing pool
Wonderful place right in the beach. A little old and could use some new paint but very clean. Good variety for breakfast but the staff in there restaurant is not super friendly and the coffee is god awful. There is a little stand right next to the restaurant to buy good coffee, but overpriced and should not be necessary. Still we enjoyed our stay and for the price very good.

Overall very good. Close to a mall called Market Village for dining options and shopping. Public transportation is also convenient. It's at the beach so for the price it's hard to beat.

This property in a great location right on the beach and in a convenient part of town. Defiantly a 3 star hotel and a bit old and in need of some renovations. But it was clean and the room I had was great value for money. The out door pool area is in definite need of update, especially the outdoor furniture and lounges. The staff were generally friendly and helpful when asked. They don’t go out of their way to communicate with me. Gerally good value for money. You get what you pay for.

Cozy but an old cottage style hotel at the beach a but run down. A paint job and some small repairs would do no harm. Small room with plenty of unwanted mosquitoes. Limited restaurant menu. Good location near market villa and village market. Next to Marriott.

Cheapest hotel in Hua Hin right on the beach
The cheapest hotel in Hua Hin right on the beach, and a short walk to Market Village mall. Old but very charming. Reaturaunt overlooks the sand and the Gulf of Thailand. I highly recommend as an affordable option!

I had booked and paid for a room for 2 adults and 2 kids. During check in i had to pay extra THB 2400 for the two nights. Very bad. Did not know this is how expedia is trying to make up lost business due to covid19. Show very cheap prices at the time of booking and have the client pay extra at check in. Will never book with Expedia again

Veranda Lodge was quite lovely! We enjoyed the lush greenery and the birds. The room itself was clean and spacious. We had a discounted rate due to the timing of our trip which seems like it would be reasonable as the standard rate. The two twin beds pushed together to make a king sized bed was a bit uncomfortable and there were dead bees all over the pool area (which was just kind of alarming and bizarre). The location next to the beach is excellent.

Lovely stay after COVID19
What a lovely Lodge, with many trees and vegetation in the garden. Birds chippering in the morning and cicadas at noon with squirrel jumping between trees. The staff is very friendly and nice. We felt welcomed and taken care of. The manager whom I forgot to ask for the name, was very good. The breakfast was nice as well (simple and tasty, chosen from a menu, including sweet Thai fruits). The restaurant itself has good food, with a winning view to the ocean, with good breeze coming from the see. The room was nice as well, as long as you don't expect a new 5 star hotel (if you do, then you'll be disappointed). Definitely coming back.

Great beach
Perfectly positioned on a beautiful beach, with a little beach bar and restaurant still open to residents, during the Covid19 shut-down, it left little to be desired. We stayed in one of the one bedroom suites which are a bit older and less nice than the bungalows, but the extra space made up for it. Easy ride to two big shopping centers, which were closed during our time. Staff are nice, helpful. Breakfast good.

As the resort is just besides the beach, one can just take a leisure stroll on the beach in the morning and/or evening. Breakfast is good and filling and cook Ala-carte to one’s choice of menu. There is also unlimited bread and fruits. Staff is friendly and helpful. Resort is also just 10 mins walk to the Hua Hin Market Village which is a decent shopping centre with lots of food choices at the basement. Overall Veranda Lodge is a nice resort but the room rates is on the high side.
