"Room was clean. AC wouldn't go below 68, which when it's over 100 degrees outside is a bummer, but it held it's temp okay. The toilet was LOUD after the flush for a solid 2 or 3 minutes. Food was good, staff was pleasant, valet attendees were top notch."

"This is the second time I've stayed here and for a budget hotel, it cannot be beat for price or location. Literally 30 minutes from everywhere I needed to go (Martinsville, Roanoke, Moneta). Staff is EXCELLENT! The first room we got had AC that only had one of the two fans working and the bathroom faucet had a tiny stream that shot off to the right of the main stream. We were immediately offered another room. Didn't partake of the breakfast because Bojangles is right down the road and when I'm in town, it's the only breakfast I want. Nice pool, though the painted liner was coming off. Again, for what it is, it's a comfortable stay and if you need something, the staff is incredibly helpful."

"Guests in the room above ours allowed their children to run, jump and stomp around their room at all hours of the night. Hotel staff were unable to control the situation. Lost the entire night of sleep. The next morning the hotel manager was non apologetic and close to being rude. I’ve stayed in this hotel for years (family in the area) and I’m very disappointed."

"Room had a slight odor to it when we first entered the room. Not a bad odor per se, just noticeable. Mattress was pretty decent. Shower water pressure was excellent. We didn’t use any of the amenities, slept thru the included breakfast. Pool was very inviting but we didn’t bring our swimsuits. Solid 4 stars for a quick overnight stay."
