This place is is cute and very clean. There are some restaurants and a convenience store right down the street. The room was well appointed and super comfortable. So glad I found this place!

The Lake Hudson Recreation Area's Dark Sky Park was perfect. The restaurants all used locally only locally sourced foods. The people were very friendly. Easy day trips to Adrian and Hillsdale.

We loved it here. We loved the little campfire pit outside. We love the privacy, new clean sheets on the bed and Blankey. It’s a great price. Just wished our TV went up just a little bit louder. Besides that we had clean towels they let us check in early. We seen the cute little family on their side-by-side cleaning the room afterwards. Great place to stay 💕

Area was very nice. Enjoyed the outdoor space. Please though, check your rooms for common amenities. There were no hangers in the room for clothes. The website did not list if the room provided a microwave and fridge and I was happy to see that it did! I contacted the owner and asked if a hairdryer and iron with iron board was provided. The owner was happy to put a hairdryer in the room but could not provide the iron/ iron board. Over all we would stay there again.

It was a clean and fairly adequate motel except for the mattresses and other furniture. Out of three beds in our room, one was adequate and the other two were worn out and visibly sunken. There weren’t many amenities (ice, front desk, etc) but the lack of comfortable furnishings in the room - sunken beds, only a card table and three folding chairs, no place to put suitcases to open them, etc., made this property a negative for me.

We had to leave early. Our plans got canceled due to the smoke. So we decided to leave early. It had nothing to do with the room itself. I want to say Thank you for accommodating me to the room we did stay in. It was away from everyone which is great because of my medical condition! The room wasn't bad but the building itself is old and need updated. Other than that no complaints.

Sunset Acres is a really cute little motel with a nice room, but if you’re sensitive to cigarette smoke, this may not be the best choice. The smell was strong enough that I coughed until I fell asleep. Otherwise, it’s a charming spot, but the lingering smoke takes away from the comfort.

It was a decent place for the price. It could use some updating. It smelled funny when you first walked in. We weren't sure if it was weed or cleaner? There was a mouse trap under the sink which was a bit nerving.....but we did not see any signs of mice. We would stay here again.
