"The view was great and the room was good but the slope of the floor meant that the bed wasn't level! There are no USB sockets for charging. Had full English breakfast one day which was disappointing. Low quality bacon which was stone cold. Had something else the next day and it was lovely."

"I have stayed here many times. It has always offered good value, decent, no frills accommodation. However, this time, the room really wasn't acceptable. The bathroom basin was badly cracked and the bath plug had been replaced with one that was significantly smaller, meaning that I couldn't fill a bath, as the water ran out as fast as the tap was filling it. I had also asked for a quiet room and was assured that I was away from the road, but the traffic noise kept me awake until the early hours."

"Fabulous room with comfy bed and both windows that open and air con. Good shower and bathroom. Nice touch with personalised letter and chocolates on arrival. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast. A 15 minute walk down into the town and beachfront. Would definitely recommend "

"Bar ok , as people have said rooms tired, items in room broken, couldnt turn heating off, carpet very old and a bit dirty / worn. Shame"

"The room was a nice size but needs improvement one of the lampshades was missing from the bedside lamp so was just a light bulb I did report to reception but was not repaired one of the windows had duck tape holding the glass in place these are things that could be easily fixed The hotel it’s self is very clean and the staff are friendly there is a bar that had live entertainment on the Friday night The room we had has a nice view of the sea and had tea and coffee facilities and bottled water daily "

"A warm welcome greeted us in reception the room was clean, tidy and fully equipped. The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home, overall it was a very pleasant stay and we will certainly return."

"Room was excellent bed supper comfy and the pillows amazing! Had an amazing steak for dinner with peppercorn sauce! Breakfast full English on point highly recommended "
