Superb Chateau with beautiful grounds in an area situated with easy access to multiple Chateaus to visit and wonderful vistas of the Loire Valley. It is your own private Chateau! The beautiful room was exceptional, comfortable, quiet and very clean. The Staff couldn’t have been nicer and are very helpful with suggestions of places to go including restaurants. Breakfast was great as well. Worth every penny!

Fantastic experience starting at this beautiful chateau. We were well take care of and enjoyed our stay. We received plenty of good tips of chateaus nearby as well as restaurants with special recommendations of each. We can’t wait to revisit! The only thing I missed was a bit stronger espresso style coffee :) but all in all a very very satisfied!

Une parenthèse hors du temps, détente, calme et repos au sein d un magnifique château où tout est fait pour que l’on se sente non seulement bien mais chez soi. Les propriétaires sont vraiment à l écoute et bienveillants, c’était juste magique. Nous reviendrons c est certain .

Una experiencia distinta.

Un chateaux precioso, con una decoración muy antigua y bien tenida, habitaciones espaciosas y baño actualizado, el desayuno muy variado y con productos naturales. Ubicado en una propiedad de varias hectáreas , ideal para pasear. La habitación no tenía AC. Pero eso lo sabía al contratar. Los dueños muy amables y atentos. El único detalle que es poco favorable es que no permiten comer otras cosas que no sean vendidas por ellos, lo que me parece un sin sentido porque estás lejos de la ciudad. No pudimos tomarnos nuestro propio vino ni los quesos que habíamos comprado…un detalle raro.

Chateau Des Grotteaux is the most wonderful hotel in the Loire. The owner and his lovely wife take care of everything themselves. Delicious home made breakfasts, cozy and neat bedrooms, excellent wifi and a spectacular garden and pool area. Not to miss while in Blois!

Our stay at Château des Grotteaux was fantastic. Beautiful location, lovely hosts, comfy bed, sophisticated pool area, amazing breakfast, and a nice experience when you're into interior design as everything is very tastefully decorated. Gorgeous property, lovely hosts!

Can’t say enough wonderful things about Chateau Des Grotteaux! The grounds were peaceful and well-kept with plenty of recreation/entertainment options. The room was beautifully renovated with modern comforts, while keeping the 16th century charm. Gael and Cecile were incredibly welcoming hosts and learning about the history of the property from them was a very fun touch! Would 100% recommend a stay here!

Beautiful Chateau in Excellent Location

We loved our stay here and would certainly come back. The owners were very friendly and the location was perfect for exploring nearby chateaus by bike (we biked to Cheverny, Chambord, and Chaumont over two days with this chateau as a home base). Breakfast is wonderful and served at a shared table so you can meet the other guests. The chateau and grounds are beautiful! Relaxing by the pool was a perfect way to end one of our long bike days.
