"Excellent place to stay for a weekend break. The building was beautiful and the restaurant food was excellent. Only think I would change is the use of the facilities on the Sunday…wish they could be used longer and not just until check out time at 11 am."

"Overall it was a good experience: staff, value, ambience and food. Some elements were disappointing - toothpaste on a clean(?) towel, blood specks on a pillow. And I had requested a quiet room which was acknowledged prior to my visit. I was given a room over the bar courtyard - music played under my window until I requested it was switched off at 9pm up to which time no one had used the courtyard due to the cool weather. Thankfully it wasn't in the heat of summer. And sadly the modern hotel construction meant the room above picked up all noise from movements. I didn't think that a bit of extra thought would have put me in a room that would have offered a more quiet environment which it clearly wasn't, showing either wilful disregard for my request or no thought it through. Did I complain? Did I need to. The damage had been done."
