"Parking lot is terrible! Apparently there’s one in the back but it hasn’t been plowed. Entrance off of road should be better marked- the sign is past the turn. Rooms were okay but lobby and exterior were very tired. One plus was the beds were very comfortable. Hair dryer didn’t work - the plugs in the bathroom were faulty. Staff was lovely though. You get what you pay for. Would have appreciated if breakfast was included. "
"While trying to have a nap before the concert had a full team of hockey players playing stick hockey in my hall way, with sticks knocking against my door… then had to walk through that to get to the concert… not sure why that was allowed for over an hour. Also no way what so ever to recite"
Harbourview Inn, SureStay Collection by Best Western
2/10 Terrible
"Room and false advertising in description and pictures. Room said it was queen bed and it was only a double. There were zip ties for a lock for the doors to the adjoining room. Bathroom sink was plugged and barely drained.
The main room light didn’t work. Only 1 head light above the right side of the bed to light the entire room.
Also there was no parking, the back parking lot was not ploughed and the front parking lot was full from locals visiting the pub in the hotel as there was live music. No parking for actual hotel guests.
I DO NOT recommend staying at this hotel. "
"Our host and owner (Carmen) is courteous and welcoming. We felt at home as soon as we walked in the door. Her hotel is very clean and charmingly decorated. I loved the experience of being in an Inn that has been in operation since 1785. Being so close to the waterfront and downtown amenities was a plus as well. Will definitely stay here again! "
