"One night stay with our friends, we stayed in cabin 11 newly renovated and it was very nice, clean and all amenities. Each of us had a bedroom and very comfy. Lounge living area good size for four adults. There is a outdoor patio but to cold for us to sit outside. They had black out curtains which was great, first place on our trip that actually had them and thought of the comfort of their guests. Breakfast included and location quiet. Wifi nice and strong."

"June 2024 Absolutely fantastic stay @ Mývatn Berjara Hotel! 1 large bedroom with 2 large sized queen beds (1 was a pull out sleeper sofa but you wouldn’t have known it) and was still able to a twin sized sleep away bed in our room for our 8yo daughter with plenty of room. Room itself and bathroom was immaculately clean. Beds were comfortable and loved the clean, modern vibe of the hotel. Hot tub was great on hotel properly and included thick terry cloth robes you could grab at the front desk. Shower had plenty of hot water and spa toiletries products- shampoo, conditioner, shower gel- all l'occitane products. Room included large flat screen with Amazon, Hulu, Disney +, Netflix, etc. Blackout shades in our room. Would ask for a fan in summertime if you like to sleep with your room cold. Would highly recommend for anyone or a family. 5 Stars stay in Iceland! "

"Great little place to stay with access to a kitchen and a good breakfast included. Rooms were clean and cosy. All you need and just a few minutes drive away from Húsavík. Staff are very friendly and helpful."

"This was one of the most anticipated stops along our road trip. We were only able to stay one night due to availability but we would have loved to stay longer. The place was very quiet, peaceful and romantic. The space was mindfully designed and very visually appealing. I can tell the owner out a lot of thought into the interior design. The heated floors + heated towel rack made the place even more cozy. We enjoyed the stars in the jacuzzi but unfortunately didn’t see the northern lights that night (although I’m sure it is a great place to see them when they are out). The only downside was some of the pots were covered in food from previous guests. All of the plates, cups and silverware were spotless though."

"The Langvatan Guesthouse was the nicest stay so far during our past 8 days in Iceland. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The common dining area was very cozy and warm. The washrooms were spacious and clean. The rooms were simple and small, but that's all you really need at night. The breakfast was DELICIOUS! So many options to choose from. They also offered dinner, if we hadn't eaten dinner already, we would've had dinner here as well. Overall,100/10 would recommend & would stay again."
