"Lovely hotel in a great location. The family room was huge with a seating area. Very comfortable bed and super shower. Lovely staff, especially the young lady who was in the busy restaurant alone during dinner but managed to remain smiling throughout service. Very nice breakfast but we were a bit disappointed by dinner. Limited choices and a lack of fresh salads etc. We had a pizza from Daddi’s nearby one night. Very nice but expensive! We swam at Laugar public pool - excellent. Also ate meat soup at the cafe on the main road at Laugar. Very good."

"Clean and spacious room, toilet and bathroom right across the hall with everything you could need. Quirky and quiet place, minutes Walk from the harbour which was brilliant. Ideal stop if your on the ring road trip. Highly recommend."

"My family did an 8-days ring road of Iceland in early April 2026, and this place/villa was, out of all the 7 hotels, hands down best hotel we stayed. My husband who doesn't usually leave reviews asked me to post a review for this place! Everything was spotless clean, modern and well equipped. We could definitely feel the owners' thoughtful touches throughout the villa (wooden chess set, warm blanket, olive oil for cooking, artistic coffee/tea cups, Reykjavik candle company 'hotel-lobby' room scent, cookbook for reference... ) And the hot-tub!! I think I want to re-visit Iceland just to use this place's hot-tub. Everything was so perfect and lovely. Thank you for the wonderful experience."
