"This was the most magical place I’ve ever stayed, in the middle of horse country, so peaceful and beautiful. The host Ragnar is so hospitable, kind, personable and funny. There are horses on property and they are lovely! There’s also a sweet cat, hot tub, coffee and tea for guests. This was such an amazing experience, recommend to anyone and I hope to be back! Thank you so much!"

"It was a nice property, had all the utensils you would need to cook, we had an inconvenient one time we got to the apartment and we get in the shower 3 minutes later no water. Apparently the town decided to do maintenance and we were going to be without water for hours. No communication whatsoever from the host letting us know, so here we are with soap using water bottles to shower when they knew what was going on and could’ve send a message. Very disappointing night. Other than bad communication, everything else is good and good location."

8/10 Good
"Friendly staff at check-in, great restaurant, clean rooms, beautiful scenery. Be aware there is a geothermal factory very close to the hotel and the pool is not as glamorous and large as it looks. There is nothing in the area but the hotel’s restaurant is very good, makes up for lack of dining options in the area. There is a hiking trail right behind the hotel."
"It was a very clean property and conveniently located. Very grateful for the blackout curtains. My only complaint is that the fan in the bathroom would randomly turn on through the night."
"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Stay in Iceland
We had a truly wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Iceland.
The room was exceptionally spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. One of the highlights of our stay was the private jacuzzi, which was beautifully maintained and provided a relaxing experience after a day of exploring Iceland’s incredible nature.
The cleanliness throughout the property was outstanding, and the attention to detail was evident everywhere.
The breakfast exceeded our expectations. There was a wide variety of high-quality options, and everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented.
Most importantly, the staff were exceptional. Every member of the team was friendly, professional, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help. Their hospitality made our stay even more memorable.
Thank you for making our visit to Iceland such a pleasant experience. We would be delighted to stay here again on our next trip.
Highly recommended!"
