"Checked in with my wife the ac unit did not work it was about 80 degrees in our room and smelled like wet laundry asked to be moved to another room and staff sent a repair person to our room instead and he was there for about 30 min and didn’t get to fix the ac unit “this was at about 10pm after traveling since 4 am” we were forced to sleep in the room we were in until the next morning where we decided to check out and move to another hotel and that’s when the morning staff offered us a new room we refused and stayed at a comfort inn which was not only cheaper but cleaner and staff was a lot nicer the only positive thing I will say is the morning staff did apologize and said that we should have been moved that night and gave us a full refund he was understanding of our frustration I would not recommend this hotel "

"The elevator and hallways smelled of marijana, and the room itself freaked of cigarette smoke. The shower was disgusting. "

"Room was so cold I had to get a space heater even after complaining about it and given extra blankets. They only allow two bath towels per room so I had to buy bath towels from Target. Sink was slow to drain. The tub and shower both ran at the same time. No microwave or fridge in room. Most of the staff was okay except the young girl at the front desk who was extremely unprofessional and rude. Inexpensive hotel, but not worth the money you're saving. "

"The check in process started good until we learned that the property was under renovation and breakfast is a grab and go bag. That was disappointing but not that important to us. However it was the bathroom situation that repulsed us. The tub was yellow and the shower knob looked moldy. We mentioned the situation to the front desk and to see if they could clean it but was told cleaning crew was not available but if we want we can be provided with material to clean it ourselves. The manager was not available to talk. Her number was given to reach out to her on Monday. But it was pointless because we were only there for one night. That was room 132 on the first floor. If you are accommodating guests then you have to make sure that the room is clean. I’ve stayed at othe Laquinta before and this experience has ruined any future booking with Laquinta."
