"This location was perfect in the countryside and very peaceful. Loved the balcony and the room was comfortable with a nice occasional chair and desk. Bathroom and closet good too. The room was very clean and towels were replaced and the bed made daily but only bathroom garbage was removed, not the garbage in the room and it seemed that the promised cleaning after two nights did not take place so no cups cleaned or tea replaced. The breakfast was good with an offer of made to order eggs daily....

"Heerlijk plekje in de Achterhoek! Grote tuin, lekkere hottub, fijne sauna en vooral veel privacy. Lekker om even bij te komen. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar! De living is echter wel klein als je er met meer dan 4 personen zou verblijven. Handig om vooraf te weten, is dat er een boiler is. Dit kan lastig zijn als je met meer dan 2 personen bent. De zoon van de eigenaren was erg vriendelijk en enorm behulpzaam."

"The hotel is a little tired. We stayed in a small apartment which wasn't really clear it wasn't on the hotel property. Also no ac and it was pretty hot the days we were there. There are a few places to eat and drink, rather there could have been. Only one place was open limited hours during our stay. It was reasonably clean and the staff were all friendly, just for 600 a night we expected a little more. "

"Wir haben eine schöne Zeit in der Residence Lichtenvoorde verbracht. Die Anlage ist ruhig und hat eigentlich alles was man braucht an Infrastruktur. Es ist nur schade, dass der Park nicht groß genug ist für einen Brötchenservice oder ein Restaurant mit Frühstücksangebot. Allerdings war das Besteck bei Ankunft nicht sauber und man sollte die Silikonfugen im Bad mal erneuern. Das ist ein Aufwand von 1-2 Stunden und alle paar Jahre einfach notwendig. "
