This is a nice hotel - modern, clean and staff are friendly and accommodating. I actually had an amazing time during my stay. My negative review, however, is due to the hotel charging my credit card two months after my stay.
I booked a two-night stay through Hotels.com for the price of EUR 626.40. Upon check in, I was told that the room that I booked (Deluxe Double, Sea View) was not available. I was offered the Studio Suit Swim Up and was told that I would actually pay less. At the day of check-out, I asked whether the EUR 448.80 they were charging me was for the cost of the rooms and they confirmed. Fast forward to two months, I got a notification from my credit card of a EUR 674.74 charge from the hotel. I contacted the hotel which is actually very responsive (sincere thanks to Ms Janine Prantner of their Back Office). They explained that this charge is for my original reservation and the EUR 448.80 they charged me back when I checked-out was only for the cost of the room upgrade. This is clearly not how it was communicated to me during check in as my understanding was I was actually downgraded because room unavailability. I also do not remember seeing the EUR 674.74 in my invoice when I checked out. And of course, I find it strange that I am only getting charged two months after my stay. Why not when I checked out?
