"A blessing by chance. We missed our stop at Mykonos and had to detour to Ikaria. On the spot booked this hotel. We arrived and throughout our stay, we fell in love. Irene was the most sweetest and helpful person. The people of the town, also so nice and friendly. A beautiful hotel, accommodating, and a simple nice breakfast. We can't express how grateful we are to Irene...and if you need a taxi, we recommend Stelios. Just ask around, you'll get his number. He's well known, helpful and honest."

"We stayed in the 'presidential suite', which was a really lovely apartment, with a stunning view over the sea. Breakfast isn't worth it - you would be better off going down to the town and eating in in one of the cafés. The one serious problem with this place is its location - it is very difficult to find, and no matter what your GPS or Google Maps says, you should go to the town first, then drive up the hill. Also, it is a long and steep walk down to the town, and a real ordeal to come back...

"It’s a remote beautiful property, can’t really walk to anything. Internet connection works in the room & on the property throughout. Absolutely NEED a car to go anywhere. I’d put dark curtains if it were my hotel since as the sun rose, it woke me up way earlier than I wished… I’d also not charge for breakfast & make available lactose free yogurt & milk. There’s a supermarket with lots of choice, a short car ride away, Sklavenitis. It sells all kinds of fresh, local fruits, local vegetables,...
