Great stay

Enjoyed my stay at Acorns guesthouse. Lovely welcome on arrival, comfortable room with a great breakfast. Hosts were friendly and helpful with anything needed. Close to nearby shops (walkable) or drivable to next town. Enjoyed my stay was great value :D

Acorns guest house - July 2022

Stayed at the Acorns Guest house for two nights in July 2022. Very good location, a one minute walk to Newberry Beach. Lots of local pubs, and great scenery. Staff were very friendly, helpful and accomodating.

Lovely people, immaculate cleanliness and presentation. Breakfast was great! Just a note on the parking, its fine for most cars but think twice if you have a low fronted sports car as its up quite a steep hill.

We really enjoyed our two night short stay. The location is great, being a very short walk from the beach, bars, shops and restaurants. The welcome and check was warm and efficient, the room was lovely, very nicely decorated with all the expected amenities. Breakfast choice was good and the quality was excellent. The hosts Denise & Steve are really nice people and very knowledgable and helpful when seeking advice on where to eat and what to see. We would definitely recommend Acorns Guest House and hope this will not be our first visit.

Acorns

This B and B is run by a very pleasant couple Denise and Steve. Our small double room, number 5 was clean and tidy with a spotless Shower ensuite. However the sink is very tiny and it was impossible to fir the kettle under the tap to fill it! But we just kept putting cupfulls of water in the kettle when needed. Delicious to have a hot chocolate mix as well as tea and coffee. AND we were given a couple of tasty biscuits daily too! The full English was very tasty with thick bacon and chunky sausage. The guest lounge is comfy, with a tv and a bar if you want to buy a drink or two.

Stayed here for a wedding. The room was lovely. The host was so friendly and catered for dietary requirements fabulously. I would happily stay here again!
