It's a botanical party out there--color, texture, and a level of plant health that made my houseplants feel judged. Morning coffee here feels like a mini-vacation. Rooms: Quaint, cozy, and packed with character. Not cookie-cutter; more "hand-written note." Everything felt thoughtful, not generic. And when I say "hand-written note," that is exactly what we found. There was a hand-written note on the desk welcoming us and hoping we enjoyed our stay. Noise Level: Whisper-quiet. You can actually hear your own thoughts--and they sound relaxed for once. Service (By phone): No manned office, but responsive when needed. "You get what you pay for is the motto of this review. It did not appear dirty, but an update of the rooms should be a priority. The surrounding property was sketchy, as if we were on the wrong side of the tracks, and the actual property we had reserved was shut down. I was able to check in another hotel on that same property. "
