"The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was fine. The food was excellent and there was a nice view from the restaurant and terrace you can enjoy a drink on. The accommodation was right on the Rheinsteg which was great for us as we were walking."

It felt like an unmaintained 1980s relic with unpleasant red shag carpet and almost zero soundproofing. The room was objectively dirty and hazardous: Hygiene: There was active mold on the bathroom ceiling and in the shower grout. The toilet had a visible brown biofilm build-up under the rim, and the water faucet was covered in heavy limescale. Expired Food: I found coffee creamers that had expired over 100 days ago (Dec 2025) and minibar chips expired by two months. Security: While we were out, housekeeping took an active key card from our room without explanation. We had to go back to the desk to reprogram everything because we didn't know who had it. Service: Breakfast service was incredibly slow; it took a very long time just to get a coffee. Management provided a partial discount after I showed them the photos, but a refund doesn't fix these health and safety issues. If you book here, be very careful which wing they put you in."

"Really good, but with a bunch of annoyances. Cleaning staff is intrusive, even though could hear me talking. Clothes iron is a small room that you get to share with other guests. "

"The property is very nice. The breakfast included was wonderful. The town of Keidrich is about 5 minutes away and has so many wonderful restaurants. My only complaint would be the view. When we booked, the room says valley view but since our room was on a lower level it actually overlooks the driveway and the parking lot. All night long, you can hear cars driving up. I think if we had a higher level room it would have been more enjoyable. "
