"The bed was very uncomfortable asnit was 2 single beds pushed together and the bed kept seperating - i had booked a double room so this wasnt good as we didnt sleep well"

"This is my goto for stays in Koblenz. Yea, its like a 20 min drive...but it is worth it! The rooms have been upgraded since the last time I was here. They look great. The breakfast buffet is just as I remember it...legendary. The surroundings are serene. Leave your window open and fall asleep to the babbling brook. Never hit the spa yet, but it looks comprehensive. Maybe next time! "

"Löhnburg is a small town away from most big cities. However, this hotel which has been operated for 190 years by the same family, is amazing. There are many interesting towns around it and it is helpful for people touring the region by bicycle. Every staff member went out of their way to help us. The restaurant is wonderful. It has most of the amenities one would expect to find in a 4.5 to 5 star hotel in a larger city. "

"I was charged for the booking by Expedia but the hotel said the room was not paid for, so we assumed it was payment on arrival and paid the hotel. When we returned home, we found that Expedia had also charged us for the same stay. Furthermore the hotel did not provide us with an official receipt, that we can remember. As a result, we are having difficulty getting our duplicate payment refunded from Expedia. We are attempting to contact the hotel to obtain a copy of their receipt to prove to Expedia that we have paid the hotel, directly, in the hope to get our duplicate payment refunded."
