Days Hotel & Conference Center by Wyndham Danville
2/10 Terrible
"Elevators would randomly stop working. No operable restroom for quest of 1st floor. A/C / Heat did not work. Toilet kept backing up. The carpet in the room stunk. The staff was overwhelmed. Too many negatives to list."
"First at check in to get surprised with additional fees on top of the confirmed room cost and taxes on Hotel.com was an immediate turnoff. Then after checking and going to our room to find the room was trashed, door open, and hadn’t been cleaned/restocked after the last guests left. Then we got an attitude from the woman at the desk every time we had to ask for things, like towels and soap. We were told 2 towels for a room that sleeps 4 was standard. Door keys regularly quit working. One bed was missing the warmer green blanket, which we were told they don’t use green blankets. Having only sheets in the bed is weird. Carpet was fraying, building is basically a painted turd. You can hear people talking in the neighboring rooms or walking upstairs. Place is basically a roadside motel with doors to the outside and people appearing to be long term tenants that leave full bags of trash outside their doors. It’s been painted recently so it appears to look better on the outside but very much is the quality the hookers and meth heads frequent. For the cost, I should have stayed at the holiday in instead. This place shouldn’t be able to charge more than $35 a night and is by far the worst place I have stayed."
"They canceled my reservation 12 hours before I was to check in. Something about no hot water. Apparently there aren’t any 24hr plumbers in the area…
Never even got to the hotel. I had to scrounge for a room in a town that had 1000 extra people arriving for a special event."
"The room was clean, other than corners of the room were dirty, it’s understandable being a hotel. Staff was very friendly! Breakfast was good and the lady stocking it kept up on it, only downfall was one waffle maker so there was a line and only two cereal options. The pool area was clean."
"The shower curtain had mold on it
The couch was from the 90s and needs to be replaced
The room smelled bad
There were no blankets on the bed only thin sheets
The front desk attendant was very nice "
