"I absolutely loved my stay at Villa Elixir. This place is a gem in the heart of Fort Kochi. The moment you walk in, you feel the calm — beautifully designed spaces, spotless rooms, and a warm, welcoming vibe that instantly puts you at ease. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together. The bed was super comfy, the air‑con was a lifesaver, and everything felt fresh and well cared for. It’s clear the team pays attention to the details. Breakfast was delicious every morning, with fresh local flavours and a relaxed atmosphere that made it the perfect start to the day. The staff were fantastic — friendly, genuine, and always happy to help with recommendations or anything you need. The location couldn’t be better. You’re close to cafés, galleries, and the waterfront, but the villa itself stays peaceful and quiet. Villa Elixir is one of those places you’re genuinely happy you booked. Amazing hospitality, great design, and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended."

"Absolutely lovely. By the seaside, in the center of town, walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants. Historic rooms and great historic sitting rooms and verandas. "

"Health & safety hazard – avoid Fort Beach Residence is completely unacceptable and poses a serious health and safety risk. On arrival, no basic amenities were provided (no toilet paper, towels, soap, or drinking water). Communication with staff was extremely difficult despite English being advertised. The room was filthy: dirty and stained bed linen and towels (I had to use my own), dust everywhere, ants on the walls, and a bathroom that clearly hadn’t been cleaned for a long time—dirt visibly ran down the tiles when the shower was turned on. A broken mosquito net led to insect bites. Facilities did not match the listing: no Wi-Fi, faulty toilet, no hot water during the day, and curtains that didn’t close properly. Noise continued throughout the night, and on multiple occasions people attempted to enter my locked room without knocking, which was alarming. This property should not be operating as guest accommodation in its current condition. I do not recommend staying here"

"I had a great stay here. The room was clean and comfortable, and the host Jaicy and his family were extremely friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the basilica, Fort Kochi Beach etc., and several good restaurants. Overall, a wonderful experience and highly recommended."
