"The full-time staff there are absolutely brilliant. They go above and beyond to try and make your stay and visit to Thredbo special.. they let me gloves a hat and a toque to go up the mountain with – God did I ever need it! Lovely to see such a diverse group of people under the same roof and would have no hesitation to recommend it as a clean friendly and safe place to stay"
"Good place to start, it is a little work around the edges but it's clean and comfortable.
Always a good place to stay, I just wish it had an elevator.....😉"
"We had an overall easy and convenient stay. The room was clean and the view was lovely. However, there were a few things that could be improved. The room lacked some basic furniture like chairs and small table, which would have made it more comfortable. "
"Rooms were clean, nice options within hotel for a perfect bar, food and view.
All amenities were provided, I understand it to save wasting but it would be good to have dental kits on request. "
"Absolutely loved it! Love the location, they have a great bar with amazing food, live music, excellent vibe! Amazing views! Incredible rooms, I loved it and definitely will go back. Just note parking is 10 min walk away, in an uphill"
"Stayed over Easter in a 'family' (2 room) place. Location was fantastic for walking, but no parking is provided so was a ~20 min to drop the car off. Staff were AMAZING, easily the nicest group of humans I've met in a hotel - the service provided is what made us overall enjoy this place. Food was AMAZING - breakfast (included) and dinner was incredible.
The room was a big let down compared to the rest of the hotel which was really nicely decorated/well looked after.
All the wood/paint in the bathroom was bubbling from water damage, there was loads of grout missing in the shower which made it look dirty and the rooms were very small for 5 people. We found a dead bug behind the curtains (the cleaners must have not fully opened them) and my daughter found a 5p coin (it wasn't ours) in the bed. Some of the power sockets were hanging off the wall or didn't work, the whole room needed some maintenance.
The main bedroom had a double bed with limited space around it and the other 'bedroom' was filled with 3 single beds immediately as you came in the front door. It was fine for us for Easter but if we needed to store winter gear/bike gear there was very little space to hang up clothes to dry out. The carpets are very tired looking in the room.
The rooms were quiet.
Was great value, and would consider staying here again if they sorted out some of the issues in the room. Would recommend - but considering this when booking. "
