Lillehammer is a gem which received international recognition thanks to the 1994 Olympic Games and the TV series Lilyhammer. This town’s keywords are city life, experiences and beautiful nature.

If you like skiing, Trysil is the place for you. It's one of Norway's most important winter sport resorts, and the town's motto is, fittingly, “Stavtaket foran” (Ski poles forward)!

This area boasts excellent winter sports facilities, with good hiking in summer and winter. It is home to one of Norway's largest remaining stave churches.
